"Well Spring," a sculptural masterpiece
by Brower Hatcher from Providence, RI.
Surrounding the fountain, the plaza offers diverse functions on each side. Its two-sided flower beds ensure floral beauty is appreciated both inside and outside the park. Seamlessly linked to the lush greenery, the plaza features 16 openings connecting it to the wider park.
A permanent raised stage graces the west side of the plaza, strategically positioned to shield audiences from the setting sun under the cooling shade of towering Oak and Hackberry trees. Framed by an airy canopy titled "Oculus," created by Brower Hatcher, the stage provides a picturesque backdrop
with the fountain as its centerpiece.
On the north side of the plaza, a charming interactive water feature awaits. This 12' diameter area delights children with sprays activated by their playful touches, mirroring the grandeur of the central fountain.
Along the plaza's eastern edge, visitors encounter child-friendly, tactile artworks. Crafted by Brower Hatcher, these six black squirrels invite exploration and interaction.
